Artist's Comments

So this is the first brush set I've ever done; it was done in Photoshop CS2, which means it won't work with previous versions; sorry.

After many hours of searching DA, I came to the conclusion that there were no hijab brush sets, so I found me a tutorial and made me my own. Haha. Take that. And stuff.

Erm. So. Here are my rules:

1: Credit, credit, credit! These may not be very good brushes, but I did spend a lot of time on them, and I'm rather proud of my accomplishments. Send me a note with a link to whatever you used the brushes for, that I might :+fav: it and feel important and most talented.

2: Do not use these brushes for anything pornographic or anti-anything, please. Unless it's anti-violence. Anyway, the hijab is the traditional headgear of Muslim women, so show a little bit of respect and don't be mean. I have a demonic, cross-eyed, toe-killing kitty and I'm not afraid to use him.

3: Use them for anything DA-related, including prints, but again, drop me a note with a link so I might wishlist said prints. Because I'm egotistical like that.

4: If you use these brushes for commercial uses, again, let me know so that I can get my grubby little hands on the magazine/newspaper/etc.

And . . . I think that's it. :giggle:

Hey girl, thanx fot this !!!

No problem. ^_^ I've got more pictures, so there'll be a lot more brushes. Don't have a set time because I do them when I'm bored, but they'll get there!

Thank you. I thought they might be useful to more people than just myself. Be sure to let me see what you come up with! I'll totally :+fav: it and giggle over my own genius.

Though the problem with making hijab brushes is that because they're so dependent on the positions the woman's in, it's hard to fit them to your image. You can warp it and all, but it still doesn't quite look right.

That's why I ought to make a lot of them, huh? I'll get my little sister to model for me, and I'll model some, too.

Yay!

I don't have much problem with the position in my case since most of the pictures I work with are head shots LOL I have 4 kids and a husband but when it comes to pictures of myself... unless I take them myself it seems nobody else will :) LOL

That's when you threaten no dinner.

I mean, not that you'd actually starve them, but they don't know that, do they?

Anyway, I'll work on another set within the next couple of days.
